Slip & Fall

Pursuing Compensation After a Slip-and-Fall Accident

Due to occupiers liability and other facets of the law, the potential exists for property owners to be sued when people are hurt as a result of unsafe premises and safety hazards such as a lack of security.

If you have been hurt in a slip-and-fall type accident, you may be able to recover compensation for the damages you have suffered. At QA Law in Vancouver, we have extensive experience in civil litigation and appellate advocacy. With our roster of lawyers, skilled paralegals and outside experts, we have the resources and skills to handle your slip-and-fall accident claim.

The Burden of Proof in Slip-and-Fall Cases

To be successful in bringing a slip-and-fall claim against a retailer, grocery store or individual property owner, it is important to prove that the property owner was aware of the danger and failed to act appropriately to prevent an accident.

We have access to outside experts such as engineers, to help determine what went wrong, who is liable and what level of compensation you need to be made whole again.
