Charles Jago

Charles Jago is an experienced trial lawyer who joined QA Law as an associate in September 2019. He practices in the areas of insurance defence and personal injury law.

Charles has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia on a variety of matters since being called to the bar in February 2006. He is known by his clients and opposing counsel for his professional, knowledgeable and determined advocacy both inside and outside the courtroom. Charles strives to obtain the best possible results for his clients while upholding the core values of respect and courteousness.

Charles obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Victoria in 2005. While at law school, he completed co-op terms with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, the Office of Attorney General and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT). He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in1993, where he distinguished himself by earning the gold medal in his double-major honours program of English and Philosophy, and a Master of Arts degree from McMaster University in 1994.
