Prior to joining QA Law in April of 2017, Olena practiced at a medium-sized insurance defence boutique firm in Vancouver. Her practice there was centred on ICBC defence and occupiers’ liability matters. After earning her J.D. from Queen’s University in 2012 until late 2015, Olena articled and then practiced at a small, full-service firm in Richmond. There, her practice areas included civil and commercial litigation, family and estate matters and personal injury. Olena has a broad range of court experience, having appeared as co-counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal. Olena also regularly appears in Supreme Court Chambers.

At QA Law, Olena’s practice is focussed on personal injury and motor vehicle defence litigation. Outside of work, Olena is an active member of her community and a member of the Education Committee for the BC Women Lawyers Forum and Westcoast LEAF (the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund).
